Some good tips in this article! I would add...
Point 1: Start early enough - sophomore year is ideal, junior year at the latest. Now is a great time of year to contact coaches!
Point 2: Visits that allow your swimmer to spend time with the team (without you) are key in order to get a real feel of team chemistry
Point 4: Don't become a pest. It's not necessary to email the coach with results from every single meet.
Point 8: Some majors (like engineering) aren't offered at every school. I can help you match up your child's swimming with their field of study to make sure you're targeting the right colleges.
Point 9: Follow the team on social media to get an idea of what they value.
